To maintain campus safety, building access is restricted to parents enrolling new students or those dropping off medication for the school nurse. We kindly ask that you do not bring school supplies at this time.

Student Concessions on Tuesday December 16th. There will be hot dogs, chips, and assorted candy available. Hot dogs are $0.50, chips are $0.50, and candy is $1.00.
This year we will have several different items for families to choose from including gifts, food, and gift cards to various restaurants.
Must have a student in attendance at Horace Mann to claim a prize.
BINGO cards are $2.00 each or 3 for $5 and supper is $1.00 per person which includes a hot dog, chips, and water.

District Opener – Building Closure Notice
On Monday, August 18, all Rapid City Area Schools buildings will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to approximately 10:30 a.m. for our annual District Opener event. This is a special tradition where all RCAS staff gather to celebrate the start of the new school year and align for success. We appreciate your understanding as we take this time to connect, inspire, and ring in the new year together.

Rapid City Area Schools will be on Spring Break from April 14–21. There will be no school during that week as students and staff take a well-deserved break!

Scarecrow making at Valley View Elementary! Ms. Macziewski's Jr. Kindergarten class teamed up with a fourth-grade class to assemble some great fall scarecrows. The older students helped the younger ones with the project, and everyone worked together to get it done. 🍂
